Opening hours
Sotkamo library also has a self-service library outside the service hours.
Staff is present
Customer service is open from 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday.
Self-service times
- From Monday to Friday 7 am to 10 am and from 6 pm to 9 pm
- On Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 9 pm
To access library during self-service hours you need a library card and a PIN code. Use the sign-in unit next to the front door to check in. If you don’t have a PIN code to your library card, you can get from the service desk during service hours.
Execptions to opening hours in May
On Wednesday 30th of April library staff is present from 10 am to 3 pm. You can use self-service library from 7 am to 10 am and from 3 pm to 9 pm. On Thursday 1st of May you can use self-service library from 7 am to 21 pm.
Library is closed from 5th of May to 14th of May because Sotkamo library joins Kainet-library group. Mobile library does not operate. Web library and Northern eLibrary’s services are out of use also.
On Friday 16th of May library opens at 12 pm. Staff is present from 12 pm to 4 pm.
On Wednesday 28th of May library staff is present from 10 am to 3 pm. You can use self-service library from 7 am to 10 am and from 3 pm to 9 pm. On Thursday 29st of May you can use self-service library from 7 am to 21 pm.
