Opening hours
Sotkamo library also has a self-service library outside the service hours.
Staff is present
Customer service is open from 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday.
Self-service times
- From Monday to Friday 7 am to 10 am and from 6 pm to 9 pm
- On Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 9 pm
To access library during self-service hours you need a library card and a PIN code. Use the sign-in unit next to the front door to check in. If you don’t have a PIN code to your library card, you can get from the service desk during service hours.
Exceptions to the opening hours
There are exceptions to the library’s opening hours at the end of April and at the beginning of May. On April 30 customer service is open from 10 am to 3 pm. Self-service hours are from 7 am to 10 am and from 3 pm to 9 pm. On May 1 you can access library during self-service hours from 7 am to 9 pm.
On May 13 library is closed because all the furniture will be cleaned on that day. The next day is Ascension day which means that you can access library during self-service hours from 7 am to 9 pm. Staff is not present.
